Welcome to Walnut Grove Haflingers.
We are located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State. We have always trained and bred Quarter Horses until recently.
After rescuing two 3 year old Haflingers at an auction, we have discovered the best all around horse!
What a pleasure they are – willing, and so very friendly. It only took a month to decide these are the horses for us.
We have now started breeding these wonderful horses and can offer these great horses to you.
Another great horse that we have discovered is the Gypsy Vanner horse.
We now have a Gypsy Cob filly (Keuka’s Gypsy Splash) out of our registered Haflinger mare (Clarissa) and the Gpysy Stallion “Lively Leo”.
What a terrific combination…a wonderful calm – people friendly temperament , curious and a willingness to please. Definitely…an “in-your-pocket” kind of horse.

Extremely good mannered with such a great temperment. Great large bones, straight legs and wonderful feathering.
And...Oh Yes, the breed's "Apple Butt".
He is the son of the infamous "NOBBY" and "AMBER" (with the creme pearl gene).
Great combination allowing all possibilities in his offspring.
